Patrick has lived and worked in Brazil for 10 years and has unique expertise in physical actor training, intercultural performance forms, Improvisation and ensemble work. He has taught at The University of Northampton, Salford University, The Federal University of Bahia, Brazil and has worked as theatre director for Teatro Vila Velha, Salvador, Brazil where his work was nominated in three categories at the Braskem Regional Theatre Awards, including Best Direction, Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor. Patrick has worked with Phakama Theatre Brazil, John McGrath, Triangle Theatre and was an Artist in Residence at the Contact Theatre in Manchester. He has trained with: Teatro da Vertigem: Sao Paulo, Triangle Thea-tre, and with Vladimir Ananyev, Katya Kamotskaya and Albert Filozov at the Moscow School of Cinematography, The Odin Teatret, Denmark, the Roy Hart Theatre , Elastic Theatre, London, Pan Theatre, Tadashi Endo, Song of the Goat. Augusto Omolú (Odin Teatret); Tania Bispo (Odundê) and Kokuma Dance Company (UK). Patrick currently works at the Manchester Metropolitan University as a specialist in Contemporary Brazilian and Latin American Theatre, Dramaturgical strategies Intercultural Theatre and Performance.
