Regular and guest teachers offer compact and intensive drama school teaching over three types of courses.

The first two are delivered at weekends and weekdays and the Advanced Course is a residential summer course either in the UK or abroad. After taking the Foundation Course you will have the option of continuing your study and signing up to the Intermediate and Advanced levels*. Each course will immerse you more deeply in the specific technical and practical skills needed for a professional career as an actor.

Course content:

Courses are lead by Dr Gareth Somers with additional support from expert tutors, featuring: physical, vocal, emotional, creative, textual, and scenic work. Specialist introductory training in: Mask Work, Physical Theatre, Singing, Naturalistic Acting, Acting for Camera and Classical Acting. A personally tailored program of exercises to engage with at home.

The Weekend Course  takes place at the King’s Arms theatre In Salford on Saturdays and Sundays from February till the end of July THIS COURSE IS NOW FULL.

Our Weekday Course takes place takes place at the King’s Arms theatre In Salford on Monday and Tuesday each week from April to the end of July.


The courses are divided into three terms: each containing 16 full days of training with a program of personal exercises to engage with during the week. We are a non-profit organisation and work to keep our fees to a minimum.

We audition and interview for the best students for our courses and keep our classes

as small as possible:we will not exceed 10 students in any class.
